Pink Bulldogs

Bulldogs are usually some very strong color like Red, similar to University of Georgia. If your opponents are the dogs or Dawgs, instead of making them red, try pink! On a locker decoration, your team should be the strongest color!

Don't Forget the Coach!

When the locker decorations are being created, whether it's assembly line or by individual volunteers, don't forget to add the coaches to the count! Post his(or her) lucky charm to the door of their room!
Spread the Spirit!
It is also fun to make charicatures of the coach! A caricature is a portrait that exaggerates or distorts the essence of a person to create an easily identifiable visual likeness, using exaggeration of some characteristics and oversimplification of others. It would make a great contest during the match or other event for the players who weren't busy. Use clipart websites , clipart program or old magazines to make pages of eyes, noses, mouths etc. . . Provide students with paper, scissors, and glue sticks to create coach portraits! Great for the yearbook or end of season banquet! Or Just make them into Locker Spirit Art for the next game ... "Don't Forget Coach says. . ."

This caricature was found in a Walter T. Foster book.

Target the Mascot

Aggression tword the opponent's mascot is the most fun way to get player's attention in a long endless hall of lockers. With the Mega High Schools these days. . .it is hard to make a statement, so go for the attack!
This duck is simple and really states the intention, but this could be used for any "foul" talisman. Don't hesitate to call this bird a Blue Jay, Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, Penguin, Parrot, Owl, Roadrunner, Rooster or Woodpecker! Instead of coloring it yellow and orange, use that school's colors! Plus, ---change the beak to fit that team's bird. You're ready to FLY!
